			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Rip Media Group will be filming Mayor Villaraigosa, Mayor Kevin Johnson, education reformer Michelle Rhee at a wonderful event Wed, Feb 15th.  If you are interested in the state of education in America, and asking questions and making suggestions on how to improve it, Wednesday is a great opportunity.</p>

<p>The location is the Coconut Grove theater at the Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools. The colonnade at the sides and rear of the auditorium is similar to that of the old &#8216;Cocoanut Grove&#8217; nightclub. The school was built on the site of the Ambassador Hotel, where Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated.</p>

<p>Later this year I will be opening a new program which subsidizes work for non-profit clients like StudentsFirst, the Alliance For Education, and other associations and charities that need corporate video production, but do not have enough funding.  Their work is too important, and we will be opening a new <em>discounted</em> rate structure for them.  Stay tuned.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are back from The Sundance Film Festival.  Very proud that <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1866249/">The Surrogate</a> (won the Audience Award at the  prestigious movie fest. ) had post production help from Eric Brodeuer at Cima Productions, our close production partner, and very happy for Gina Rodriguez who is handling her rising fame, from <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1869425/">Filly Brown</a>, with extreme grace and gratitude.</p>
<p>One of our new clients has utilized our production services in motion graphic video to have the following created by our team.  Having cut hundreds <a href="http://ripmediagroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Screen-Shot-2012-01-30-at-5.38.56-PM.png"><img class="wp-image-2331 alignleft" title="Screen Shot 2012-01-30 at 5.38.56 PM" src="http://ripmediagroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Screen-Shot-2012-01-30-at-5.38.56-PM.png" alt="" width="409" height="217" /></a>of title sequences and created many corporate video production sequences, it was a fun job for our team.  The video is an early announcement for an event &#8211; <a href="http://vimeo.com/35237635">see the video </a>- will be an amazing day of lessons, learning, speeches, and networking.  Its the &#8216;TED Conference&#8217; for cause related issues&#8230;And so much more.  Happy to be a help to them, and thought we would share the work with you.</p>
<p>Creating corporate animation videos, and corporate motion graphic stories, is completed with the expertise in multiple editing programs, and the power of story is unlimited.</p>
<p>Starting with the Dream, The Goal, The Pain, and the Call To Action, I use to start.  We then story board the concepts, and, when doing corporate motion graphic production you have the world as your canvas.  Any shot, any idea, any concept can be created without the expense of travel and a full production team.  They can be very powerful and useful as a<br />
company intro video, or even web page videos.</p>

<p>Looking forward to a great week of film, film makers, learning, and renewed excitement to create good story.  The short films may hold some incredible new talent yet to be discovered, and may be doing corporate motion graphics, animation, and are forming the art of telling a full story within a few minutes.  The best and brightest story tellers will be there.  New techniques, equipment, software, and ideas are everywhere.</p>

<p>On average 60 percent of individuals are visual learners. Numerous studies have been conducted especially in our school systems to back the findings. When a company has a prospect they tend to look at them as a student or trainee, the old school method of “sell” has changed to “educate”. Whenever a message is being communicated it is important to deliver it in such a manner that can be easily understood. Visual aids such as photos, PowerPoint’s and more predominantly video clips can greatly enhance the education process with your end consumer.</p>
<p>Reason #2: No time.</p>
<p>When someone is visiting your website or even checking out an e-mail that you sent to them you typically have their attention for only a few seconds and if you are lucky, a few minutes. Since we live in such a fast paced society marketing messages need to be kept interesting. Video marketing has an ability to add the one thing that every human can relate to, “emotion”. It is important to touch someone’s heart before you touch their wallet.</p>
<p>Reason #3: Ability to Share.</p>
<p>The effect of video marketing has greatly increased with the advent of social media. Apart from having the ability to host your videos on sites such as YouTube! to build a subscriber base, your viewer has the ability to quickly share the information across multiple social platforms like Facebook. If the message was compelling enough and contained enough value or even incorporated a unique humorous event people will talk about it.</p>
