Can you imagine if there was a vaccine for cancer? Just like there is for the measles or polio? Well, thanks to the research done by organizations like The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation (https://www.drsusanloveresearch.org), modern medicine is getting closer to finding cures and improving treatment for a variety of cancers.
The nonprofit came to Rip Media with the goal of producing a series of videos for their video marketing campaign that explain, in easy-to-understand terms, what breast cancer is, how it affects the body and what treatment options are available. For this video, Dr. Love wanted to describe some of the exciting advances in treatments.
- First, we had to grasp some complex medical processes to provide a compelling and engaging script that didn’t dwell in maudlin facts.
- Once past this hurdle, we went back to our creative production team that had worked on previous project with Dr. Love to duplicate the artistic style for this video. After all, to make a series of videos means they should look like a series of videos. Imagine watching a television series, and all of a sudden the main characters are living in a new home and the cast of characters is completely different.
- From there, execution included capturing footage of Dr. Love in a studio, but the greater task, as with all of these, is having a professional artist create a unique hand-drawn animation look and style.
In the end, we created a video delivered in a warm and supportive way that takes a look at some of the new immunology-based treatments, like vaccines that can treat and prevent certain forms of breast cancer.
We at Rip Media Group are proud to be able to support such a worthy organization and help them get the word out to as many people as they can.
