When most people think of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD, they think of combat military Veterans – brave men and women who have served in our armed forces. But did you also know that PTSD affects nearly 8 million OTHER people per year? Men and women of all ages.
PTSD can occur after you’ve been through any kind of trauma – accidents, personal injury, a witness to disaster or violent crime, and victims of physical or sexual assault – PTSD can impact you as well as those you love.
The National Center for PTSD approached Rip Media about creating a series of videos on PTSD, to include information on evidence-based treatments and medications for PTSD.
- First step was to gather as much information on this very important topic in order to write a compelling script.
- Next, we determined that using a high-end hand drawn style to the art would enhance the relatability and engagement for an audience potentially intimidated by the subject.
- From there, we took the art and created hand drawn animation that told the story in a calming, reassuring with photo-real art light splashes of color.
In the end, the client was very happy with the way we addressed and presented a very real problem, and Rip Media Group was able to continue helping them with their video series needs.
