What do you do when you come home from a getaway?
You rave about what made that trip so extraordinary; the things you experienced along the way!
Snorkeling in Cozumel, encountering manta rays gliding effortlessly with the current…A nighttime kayaking excursion in Iceland, the only illumination being provided by the almost-otherworldly Aurora Borealis…
THOSE are the things that make vacations special, not the size and shape of their plane ticket, or the firmness of the airplane seat.
People need the benefits of that experience to fully comprehend the greatness!
This concept is crucial in video marketing too.

Rule #4 today – Great storytellers focus on the experience. Here’s an example. Remember when GoPro cameras took off like a rocket? Everybody had one. Sales went from a guy with a prototype to hundreds of millions of dollars in a few years. Why? They completely focused on the experience people have when they’re using the camera. If you had one, you’re cool, you’re edgy, you’re hit, you’re awesome.
They didn’t talk about the technology in the camera, it’s size, the chips, any of that. They focused on the experience. Skiing, surfing, biking, skateboarding. If you were one of those folks, you were cool. That’s why GoPro took off. Click on the link in the description to access more breakthroughs. I look forward to seeing you there.
