Here’s the last rule of storytelling number 10.  Tell me if you recognize these logos.

You’ll see logos of some government contractors and some b2b companies and some b2c brands.

What do they all have in common?

Hopefully some of you realized…None of them exist! None of these companies are real! But we recognize them because all of these companies are from stories that we love: Stark Industries from Iron Man, Wayne Enterprises from Batman, Sterling Cooper from Madmen the show, Dunder Mifflin…Acme! That’s on the cartoon we used to watch as kids.

So recognize this, they’re related to story and that’s why we remember them. I hope this proves the point that story matters more than data, and now you have a package of excellent tools to use when you’re creating your own brand story.
