Bloom Creative – Retained Blood Syndrome (Whiteboard Animation)

Bloom Creative - Retained Blood Syndrome Whiteboard Animation

It’s one thing to have a bad heart, lung or other issue in the chest area.  It’s another thing to have that problem repaired by surgery only to suffer complications.  Bloom Creative, a marketing agency focused on healthcare, set out to provide information via video to people who may be suffering from complications following a chest-area surgery.

In particular, they wanted to explain the causes and dangers of – and remedies for – retained blood syndrome or RBS. Retained blood syndrome is a post-cardiothoracic surgery complication that can occur from blocked chest drainage tubes. The blockage can cause hemothorax, pericardial tamponade, bloody pleural or pericardial effusion, postoperative atrial fibrillation (POAF), acute kidney injury, and stroke. All of which sounds pretty scary.

So Bloom Creative approached Rip Media Group about creating a whiteboard animation video that would present the information in a matter of fact and take some of the fear factor out of it.

In the end, we provided Bloom Creative with a video that raises awareness as to the need for properly cleared chest tubes. For more information, please visit the website: RetainedBloodSyndrome.com.
