CHARACTER ANIMATION

Studies prove that people are more receptive to visual stories than through any other media type. When done with high quality, character animation adds another dimension of effectiveness by creating easy to follow stories with relatable characters.

We focus on creating character animation that successfully conveys your brand story and reinforces your brand image. You are unique, and your video must be just as unique.

As an example, our work with Susan Love raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for cancer research with our ongoing series of InPatient Science videos.

Below are a few more samples. We hope you enjoy them.

Energy Upgrade California: "Introduction"

Energy Upgrade California, the state’s energy...

Energy Upgrade California, the state’s energy management brand, is on a mission to help Californians do their part to achieve our state goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. As part of their mandate to promote a slate of new pilot financing programs that make it easier and more affordable than ever to finance energy upgrade improvements, Energy Upgrade CA needed a way to recruit contractors and train them to close more energy project deals using the new financing tools.

The client tasked Rip Media Group to come up with a new twist on the typical, boring training videos and to make a promo video to recruit contractors into the training program. We used a Mission Impossible theme to make this training series fun and interesting.

Project Summary

iTrade Network, a leader in perishables supply chain management, needed video production to describe how they provide an end-to-end supply chain solution suite that tackles the complexities that occur at all waypoints of the perishables supply chain, from procurement and quality to traceability and spend management. So they reached out to Rip Media Group to create a two-minute 2D animation, explainer video for their new offering "Traceability". Here was what we created at a time that live-action production was not feasible, due to shelter-in-place restrictions.

Workpop (workpop.com/) approached Rip Media Group (ripmediagroup.com) to create two whiteboard animations for two of their latest product offerings: Spark and Dash.

Workpop Spark lets employers find the right hire, every time. Rather than wasting time, money, and resources posting on various job board sites -- Indeed, Monster, ZipRecruiter, Craigslist, Google, etc. -- Spark lets you create one job post and turn it ON with 100+ job sites whenever an employer needs to post. Workpop Spark allows business owners to sort, analyze, and hire the most qualified candidates without having to sift through countless resumes.

Workpop Dash allows recruiters and hiring personnel to finalize all the correct job onboarding documents -- contracts, tax forms, NDAs, etc. -- without having to deal with hours and hours of endless paperwork. Dash streamlines the onboarding and the payroll process, storing and syncing all documents easily and securely.

NetApp: "Office Turtle Transformation"

Rip Media put their most experienced producer on...

Produced by: RipMediaGroup.com

NetApp (netapp.com) a world-class data storage and management corporation, came to Rip Media Group to help them design and build an innovative new ergonomic training and education station which includes several videos that will be deployed in dozens of their officies worldwide.

This first phase of the project entailed designing an interactive interface to help guide employees through the hand-drawn animation video series - enabling users to get to where they want quickly and with style. Additionally, we were tasked to produce a short video that presented the many ergonomic issues facing today's modern office worker.

Rip Media put their most experienced producer on the project who immediately went to work. With our team of talented artists, we created a futuristic city that served to guide the user effortlessly and with a sense of fun. Then, our team got to work writing, deisgning and animating a colorful world of the future. In this world we reveal the simple way each of us can remain healthier throughout our workday.

The launch of their flagship installation went off without a hitch and received universal praise for both concept and execution. As a result of this resounding success, NetApp has placed orders for 2 more series of animated videos to be produced soon.

QLess: "Stop Waiting"

Qless came to us with a compelling service...

Qless came to us with a compelling service that promised to eliminate hours of wasted time standing in line for many people, but they had a hard time explaining their service and the good it can do to the right people.

They needed a short explainer video that would not only show what their software/service does, but one that outlines the different scenarios where it can be most effective. Their goal is to tell the world about what they do to signup many more businesses that could use their service. In addition, they wanted an even shorter cutdown that could be shown in noisy environments that would tell their story - silently.

We came up with a concept they loved, turned it into a script and art. Once animated, the sound design became a critical aspect of the 'talking' version, and we created a text overlay that helped move the silent version along clearly and concisely.

In true Rip Media Group fashion, we over-delivered by providing them with not only the two videos they ordered, but one extra set for the Secretary of State in Michigan who was responsible for rolling out the Qless service for all of the DMVs in Michigan.

When Michigan's Secretary of State saw their custom version, her office wrote me to tell me the word "Wow!" literally came out of their mouth upon first viewing, and she approved the final video without changes.

Qless is very happy with their videos and they are looking forward to the continued growth and expansion of their service in the US, thanks in part to the work we delivered for them.
