Rockefeller Center’s marketing arm wanted to enhance Rockefeller Center’s video marketing with a video to explain their “Share the Light” Ornament gift, made of repurposed lights from the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree.
Millions of people every year come from miles around to see or skate beneath the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, so it goes without saying that they would probably love to own a piece of it – even if it’s something small like an ornament. Well, the people at Rockefeller Center wanted to give them that exact opportunity. They turned to Rip Media Group to update a video that was to play on a loop in their gift shop advertising these repurposed lights throughout the holiday season.
- The Rip Media Group staff started by reviewing the previously captured video, and created copy to be used as accompanying text on screen.
- With the text in place, our producers were able to design a Typography video with live action that would show how the ornaments are developed.
- From there, our producers and post production team re-edited the footage, designed elegant titles, and built eye-catching animation that brought the product to life.
Once it was completed and approved, the video was displayed in the Rockefeller Center to drive sales during one of the busiest times of the year.
