EMDR for National Center for PTSD (Whiteboard Animation)
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, commonly referred to as PTSD, has unfortunately become a common malady in our society. And it’s not just reserved for combat veterans. The good news is that modern science has created some evidence-based treatments as well as medication treatments that can help sufferers deal with and in some cases eliminate PTSD.
One such treatment is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing or EMDR.
The National Center for PTSD wanted to create a video that explained the properties of and method for EMDR. So, in conjunction with MUSA, they approached Rip Media Group to make it one of a series for their video marketing campaign.
First we sought to learn as much as we could about EMDR treatment.
Next we comprised a script that detailed the steps of the treatment.
Then it was time for our artists to go to work. Adhering to the same Whiteboard Animation we created for the previous PTSD videos, we illustrated the steps being implemented.
The timeless end result bears a close resemblance to the all PTSD videos, so the association and branding is clear.
Finally, PTSD can impact you as well as those you love. Help is available. If you feel that you may be experiencing PTSD, please contact the National Center for PTSD today at http://ptsd.va.gov/
